Although Żyrardów Reservoir was built in the 1990s, a proper swimming area only opened here in 2018. It was worth the wait – the swimming area at Żyrardów Reservoir is one of the best summer swimming spots in Mazovia.

The swimming area is guarded, but entry to the beach (and parking) is completely free. Here, you can enjoy the lush nature surrounding the wide beach. The bottom is sandy and gently sloping, so children can swim safely.

Żyrardów Reservoir is also famous for its fish, so fishing enthusiasts can also enjoy a weekend trip here. You can catch pike, zander, and carp, for example.
