The Second Plane of Development

Our educational framework is tailored to meet the needs of children in the Second Plane of Development, typically between the ages of 6 and 12. At this stage, children are naturally curious, highly social, and eager to understand the world around them. We focus on harnessing their innate desire to explore, encouraging them to delve deeper into subjects that ignite their passions and interests.

Freedom of Movement and Choice

One of the core principles at Warsaw Montessori School is the freedom of movement and freedom of choice. Our students have the autonomy to move around the classroom, selecting activities and materials that resonate with their interests. This freedom fosters independence, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility as children learn to manage their time and choices effectively.

Child-Centered Education

We utilize Montessori materials that are carefully designed to lead children from concrete experiences to abstract thinking. These hands-on materials allow students to explore and internalize complex concepts through manipulation and discovery, laying a strong foundation for advanced academic pursuits. This progression ensures that children develop a deep and lasting understanding of the subjects they study.

English-Speaking Environment

Our school provides an English-speaking environment, which not only prepares students for global opportunities but also enhances their cognitive flexibility and cultural awareness. Fluency in English is integrated into all areas of the curriculum, ensuring that students are confident and capable communicators in an international context.

School counselor,  psychologist and speech terapist

Our School counselor and psychologist are a qualified members of the WMS team that supports the children to succeed academically, socially, behaviourally, and emotionally. Together with families, teachers and  school administrators they create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home, school, and the community.

Our school also provides a certified speech- language therapist who works closely and one-on one with our children who may have different levels of speech, language or/and communication development.

At Warsaw Montessori School, we believe that education should be a joyful and inspiring experience. We encourage our students to pursue their passions and interests, whether in academics, arts, sciences, or other areas. To support this, we offer a wide range of extracurricular classes that allow students to explore and deepen their talents in various fields.
